What is a Skin Classic Treatment? It's a high performance device that's used on skin imperfections by dehydrating the top layer of skin, which in turn removes or reduces the imperfection. The treatment is very fast and very precise as it uses just the tip of a small probe to tap the area being treated. Each imperfection only takes a few seconds. This method is far superior to alternative methods like laser, cauterization, freezing, and scalpel because it's so precise, non-invasive, and doesn't traumatize surrounding tissue.

What can the Skin Classic Treat? There's a wide variety of skin imperfections and it's also safe to treat on ALL skin types and different areas of the body, not just the face. Hands, arms, back, stomach, decollete, neck, eye lids, and face are the most common treatment areas, but not limited to. There's a wide variety of skin imperfections including:

• Hyperpigmentation
• Milia
• Cherry Angiomas
• DPN (Dermatosis Papulosa Nigra - aka Morgan Freeman spots)
• Seborrheic Keratosis
• Skin Tags
• Talangiectasia (small broken capillaries, face only)
• Acne Cysts
• Clogged Pores
• Dilated Pores

Is there any down time? Yes and no. After the treatment it may look like there is a scab-like crust over the area, this will fall off on its own in 3-7 days. During the healing process the treated areas needs to be cleansed, moisturized, and protected with an SPF 30 or higher, and can be covered with mineral makeup. It's important to not coat the treated spots with anything else so they can properly dry up and heal. After that, the skin may look pinkish or brownish for up to 6-8 weeks as the new skin goes through the complete healing cycle and matches the surrounding area. Absolutely no picking or exfoliating the treatment areas for the duration of the healing cycle. 

How much does the treatment cost? For optimal results Skin Fitness Studio has designed a few options depending on the individual's skin treatment needs. Most people have more skin irregularities than initially realized until a thorough consultation is done in person with a DermLite to magnify each spot to closely view what it is and how to treat it.

An exact price is determined on a case by case basis depending on multiple factors like size, number, and complexity of each skin irregularity. To give an example of what to generally expect, an average session that treats many skin irregularities on the face and neck is $349, including post treatment product kit. For only a couple small irregularities that treatment could cost as little as $75.

Is there anyone or anything that can't be treated? Yes. However, there are minimal contraindications for this treatment, but those that are pregnant, have melasma, or are prone to skin picking aren't candidates for this treatment. Moles, warts, spider veins, and any questionable lesions are the top skin irregularities that can NOT be treated at Skin Fitness Studio and must be looked at/treated by a physician.
